Public Hearings

Public hearings were held in the eleven new district councils between the 20th and 28th November 2008. The hearings provided interested parties with the opportunity to make known their views on the Local Government Boundaries Commissioner's Provisional Recommendations. Each of the eleven Public Hearings was heard before a different Assistant Commissioner and each of the Assistant Commisioners produced a report for the Local Government Boundaries Comissioner on the written and oral representations for each district.
